What you’ll do
CrossBoundary is recruiting a Senior Associate to join the Advisory team. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience living and working in Guinea, with strong contacts across the region’s financial services sector, and a thorough understanding of the investment landscape.

Your primary responsibilities will be:
  • Drive day to day project execution on workstreams including:
  • Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities
  • Conducting sector or geographic landscape assessments
  • Identifying and engaging with qualified regional and international investors
  • Support the firm’s business development efforts in Guinea by:
  • Performing market assessments and identify key potential clients and partners within regional markets
  • Developing strategies for using CrossBoundary services to drive value for these potential clients
  • Working closely with CrossBoundary leadership on developing partnerships and pursuing new business opportunities in regional markets
  • Support on transaction advisory engagements by:
  • Supporting or often leading complex commercial due diligence assignments
  • Performing market research and developing client-facing recommendations
  • Providing value-creation recommendations for post investment strategy
  • Advising on the structuring and deploying of blended finance vehicles
Who you are
  • Self-starter who is passionate about creating lasting change in underserved markets
  • Takes on new types of work, even without prior experience/direct supervision
  • Willingness to work, travel, and live in a sometimes-challenging environment
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to operate effectively in a changing context
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues in stressful environments
  • Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • At least 4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity or similar
Location
Candidates will join our team in Conakry, Guinea. This role may involve travel.
