What you'll do
CrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Analyst to join our Asia Pacific Advisory Practice. We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of relevant experience working in finance or investment banking.
CrossBoundary is an investment firm. As an Analyst, you will contribute to all aspects of the APAC Advisory Practice, including business development and transaction advisory, alongside involvement in broader company initiatives. As a member of the team, you will actively contribute to a powerful intervention that has the potential for a significant positive impact on investment into emerging markets, in particular, investment that will improve renewable energy deployment in the regions we operate.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
Experience in, understanding of, and interest in working in South Asian markets strongly preferred
1-3 years of experience working in the Project Finance, Investment Banking, Top-Tier Consulting Firm.
Experience working with government clients and stakeholders with demonstrated ability to manage multiple client work-streams with effectiveness
A critical thinker, current on global events, who is intellectually stimulated to work at the confluence of energy and power, geopolitics, economics, and the environment
Excellent analytical ability and discipline, ability to think clearly and communicate effectively, solve problems, and a voracious hunger to learn
Willingness to work and live in a sometimes-challenging environment, and travel when needed
Understanding of project management principles and able to manage complex combinations of concurrent workstreams
Ability to split focus on multiple responsibilities and prioritize time appropriately
Familiarity and comfort with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Proficient in both spoken and written English
Primary Responsibilities
Providing targeted transaction support, including:
Supporting the team in project financial modelling / valuation, drafting of investment memorandums, and capital raising
Supporting complex commercial due diligence assignments
Performing market research and developing client-facing recommendations
Sourcing qualified investors
Advising on the structuring and deployment of innovative financing solutions
Performing sensitivity analyses and stress testing to examine impacts on valuation
Prepare presentations with business plans, explanation of management structure, competitive landscape, and financial projection to recommend strategies focusing on renewable energy market in South Asia
Conducting market, geographic landscape, macroeconomic, regulatory, national policy, and operational assessments
Maintenance of proprietary transaction tracker and research on sector investment trends
Supporting business development through proactive opportunity sourcing and relationship building, as well as responding to donor-funded procurements (EOIs and RFPs), including executing technical and financial proposals
Preparing meeting notes / minutes from engagements with external counterparties
