About the BRIDGE-In Agriculture Program
The BRIDGE-In Agriculture program, funded by the Mastercard Foundation, aims to catalyze inclusive growth in Ghana’s agricultural sector by addressing systemic barriers that hinder access to finance and skills development. The program focuses on empowering youth and women to participate more effectively in the agricultural value chain while enhancing the capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and financial institutions.
CrossBoundary Advisory leads a consortium of partners in implementing this program, leveraging its expertise in financial structuring, market analysis, and stakeholder engagement to drive impact and ensure sustainability.
Job description
CrossBoundary Advisory is seeking a talented and dynamic Communications Specialist to manage and execute the communications strategy for the BRIDGE-In Agriculture program. This role will involve designing and implementing innovative communication campaigns, creating compelling content, and managing stakeholder engagement to enhance program visibility and impact. The Communications Specialist will collaborate closely with program partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to amplify the program’s goals and achievements.
The Communications Specialist will be a member of CrossBoundary Group’s Communications team and report to the Global Head of Communications. You will work closely day-to-day with CrossBoundary Advisory’s investment advisory team in Ghana, focused on program implementation of the BRIDGE-In Agriculture Program.

Primary Responsibilities
Communications Strategy Execution:
Implement the BRIDGE-In Agriculture program’s communications strategy, ensuring alignment with program objectives
Ensure program successes are communicated clearly and consistently to audiences important to the program, including regional influencers, donor communities, and peer organizations
Content Creation and Management:
Manage the creation of multimedia content, including short videos, photo essays, and digital storytelling assets for use across platforms and partner channels
Maintain a Partner Communications Toolkit that includes ready-to-use assets (success stories, flyers, social media graphics, messaging guidance, and FAQs) to enable all stakeholders to easily amplify the program’s visibility
Regularly update and improve the toolkit based on evolving program milestones and feedback from partners
Support strategic collaboration among partners by creating shared content calendars, launch templates, and spotlight opportunities for success stories
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary communications liaison for BRIDGE-In consortium partners, ensuring timely, aligned, and impactful messaging across all program activities
Facilitate ongoing alignment through coordination calls, content calendars, and shared amplification strategies
Identify and support high-impact visibility opportunities for stakeholders, such as media interviews, public speaking, and joint event participation
Collaborate with the Mastercard Foundation’s communications team to ensure all outputs reinforce the Foundation’s brand, priorities, and goals
Media Engagement:
Develop and manage a proactive media engagement strategy to position the BRIDGE-In Agriculture program with local and national audiences in Ghana
Identify and support high-impact visibility opportunities for stakeholders and program participants, such as media interviews, public speaking, and joint event participation to highlight impact
Identify opportunities for public participation in the program and ensure these are communicated to the right audiences via earned, owned, and partner channels
Digital Campaigns and Event Promotion:
Manage social media campaigns and enhance online visibility through website SEO and digital marketing strategies
Help organize and promote program events, including training workshops, webinars, roadshows, and community engagements
Support the planning, promotion, and execution of online and offline events as key engagement tools to reach young entrepreneurs, program partners, and stakeholders
Monitoring and Reporting:
Track the impact of communication efforts using qualitative and quantitative metrics
Provide regular reports on communications activities and suggest improvements
Track and report on partner engagement and support needs, proactively addressing gaps and providing targeted guidance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, preferably in the agriculture, development, or nonprofit sector
Proficiency in communication and digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management, analytics)
Demonstrated experience working with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector actors
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creativity and the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Passion for agriculture and sustainable development, and familiarity with Ghana’s agricultural ecosystem and challenges facing youth and women in the sector, a distinct advantage
