Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a company where you would be empowered to grow and progress? At M-KOPA we believe in empowering our workforce that in turn positively impact our customer experiences with a socially and environmentally conscious mission that echoes throughout the organization.
We are looking for a Sales Executive whose role would be to recruit and manage a team of Direct Sales Representatives to distribute and sell our M-KOPA products such as phones in and around the Soweto region.
This is a lead role, and you would be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.
This role would allow you to autonomously recruit, manage, and coach a field-based team of Direct Sales Representatives to meet and surpass the set targets following our business goals. You would also be monitoring and evaluating their performance to ensure they meet the right standards.
To achieve this, it would be important to have good coaching, leadership and sales management experience that would enable you to plan and organize your team well.
You would oversee allocation of M-KOPA sales products and devices to your direct sales force team, managing their inventory and resolving audit recommendations following the set audit resolution guidelines.
Having a background in sales or sales management, particularly dealing with microfinance, mobile money, FMCG or financial services would make you a good fit for the role.
Additionally, certification in business administration, marketing or related field with fluency in the local languages and excellent sales and negotiation skills would be even more fitting.
What to expect
This would be an onsite job, managing your sales team particularly in the Soweto area. We would in turn give you a great compensation package, good commissions on your team’s sales, learning and development support to grow your skills and a good work life balance.
