As a Senior Lead - HR Shared Services, you will oversee and manage critical HR transactional functions, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery across key areas such as records management, contract administration, onboarding and offboarding processes, and employee insurance benefits. On-site roles:
This is a on-site role, you would be working from our offices in Nairobi, Kenya or Kampala, Uganda or Johannesburg, South Africa partnering with a diverse group of employees from our different markets and locations across the UK, Europe and Africa. You will be reporting to the Head of Shared Services.
Expertise
Our ideal candidate for the Senior Lead - HR Shared Services role thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional HR services. You will be expected to lead with precision, ensuring that HR processes such as records management, contract administration, and onboarding/offboarding are executed seamlessly and in compliance with legal standards. A strong ability to maintain data integrity, implement efficient workflows, and conduct audits will be key to your success.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in HR Shared Services, including experience managing employee benefits and contracts. Exceptional communication skills will help you foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while your analytical mindset will enable you to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and continuously improve processes.
Key skills and qualifications include:
A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and benefits administration.
Demonstrated experience in leading HR teams and driving results.
Proficiency in HR systems and technology, with bonus points for experience using FreshService or similar ticketing tools.
