We are looking for a Director of Commercial Finance to join our Finance department as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets.
Leading our Commercial Finance function, you will drive comprehensive financial strategy, oversee Financial Planning and Analysis, business partnering, and special projects while providing critical financial insights that influence key business decisions and support our growth trajectory.
You will be a strategic partner to the executive team, combining analytical expertise with commercial acumen to optimize profitability and long-term business value.

This is a hybrid role, you will be partnering with a diverse group of employees from our different markets and locations across the UK, Europe and Africa.
You will be reporting to the Chief Finance Officer.
Expertise
Our expectations are that you would be comfortable providing strategic financial leadership and actionable insights that drive business performance and profitability. You should have excellent financial modeling skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for executive decision-making.
If you value collaboration, can lead cross-functional initiatives, and are experienced in building high-performing finance teams, you probably have what it takes to join our team and shape our future.
We are looking for candidates with 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, relevant professional qualifications (CA(SA), CFA, or CIMA), and expertise in pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and credit risk management.
Your experience should include business partnering with senior leadership, driving financial transformation initiatives, and leveraging technology to enhance financial processes. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance short-term financial objectives with long-term strategic goals are essential in this role.
