Warehouse Lead
Operations · Full-time
Delta, PA, USA
We are looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our Warehouse team; as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets.
The Role
As Warehouse Lead, you are the owner of how devices move through our warehouse, from the moment a delivery arrives to the moment a provisioned phone is ready for a customer. You lead the Warehouse Assistants (the JD also mentions Handlers and the Provisioning Team, so please confirm which to name) and report to the Manager, Warehouse and Logistics Operations. You sit within Supply Chain, working with the Warehouse and Logistics teams. Location to be confirmed.
About Us
M-KOPA is a pan-African fintech providing asset financing and credit services across Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. We have reached 10 million customers and extended $2B+ in credit, supported by 2,300+ employees and 35,000+ field agents. 86% of our customers are satisfied with us, and 55% are accessing formal financial services for the first time.
This is a on-site role, you would be working from our offices in Nigeria, partnering with a diverse group of employees from our different markets and locations across the UK, Europe and Africa. You will be reporting to the Manager, Warehouse and Logistics Operations.
What makes this different
This is not a stock-keeping role. You own the link between the physical device on the shelf and the systems that finance it: D365, M-KOPANet and the IMEI records behind every customer’s phone. When those match, customers get their devices on time. When they don’t, we feel it straight away.
What You'll Do
Receiving and storage: Oversee customs and import clearance, resolve delivery discrepancies, own D365 and M-KOPANet postings, stock control and FIFO policy, and assist with stock takes and material requirement planning.
Provisioning and systems: Plan daily allocation, manage SLAs across flashing, enrolment and locking, resolve escalations, and own IMEI upload accuracy across M-KOPANet, AX, KG and HMD Softlock.
Quality, reporting and people: Oversee RFS reconciliation and quality standards, deliver weekly and monthly reconciliation with real-time Dynamics transaction accuracy, and supervise the Handlers and Provisioning Team while keeping stakeholders informed.
What You'll Need
At least an HND/BSc in a business-related field. A diploma in Store/Warehouse Management or Procurement is an added advantage.
Over 3 years’ work experience in a similar position, including hands-on use of ERP and other inventory management systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with previous experience managing teams and driving process and performance improvement.
The honest part
Targets like 100% IMEI accuracy and zero discrepancies leave little room for “close enough.” You will work across customs, vendors, systems and a team at once, and escalations will land on your desk when something breaks. If that sounds like the job you already do well, this one gives it far greater reach.
