The Opportunity

Mosaic is looking for a data driven analyst to join its FP&A team. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this analyst will help manage the corporate and business financial planning and analysis functions and partner with the senior leadership and department leads to develop and execute Mosaic’s strategic plans. This position will be a cross-functional partner, who can synthesize data and analysis and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leaders throughout the organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with a large potential for growth.

Your day-to-day

• Financial Planning: Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and assumptions.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting activities. Generate regular financial reports, including monthly/quarterly performance reports and ad-hoc analyses as needed.
• KPI Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess business performance. Identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Procurement and Expense Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide visibility and guidance on operating expense management and procurement.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned by senior management. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and business development efforts.

What you bring to the team

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Bonus Points

• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau) is preferred.
• Master's degree or CPA/CFA certification is a plus.
• Experience with Anaplan is a plus.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
