The Opportunity

Mosaic is looking for a strategic senior analyst to join its FP&A team. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this analyst will help manage the corporate and business financial planning and analysis functions and partner with the senior leadership and department leads to develop and execute Mosaic’s strategic plans. This position will be a cross-functional partner, who can synthesize data and analysis and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leaders throughout the organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with a large potential for growth.

Your day-to-day

  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis of operations and revenues to identify emerging trends and opportunities for revenue optimization and risk mitigation.
  • Crafting comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, presenting key findings and actionable insights derived from the analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Support the development and maintenance of financial models to support forecasting activities. Generate regular financial reports, including monthly/quarterly performance reports and ad-hoc analyses as needed.
  • Transaction & Deal Support: Providing strategic transaction and deal support by conducting financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning to assess potential opportunities and risks, and assisting in the evaluation and execution of transactions, deals and strategic partnerships.
  • Unit Cost Modeling: Developing and implementing unit cost modeling methodologies to accurately assess the cost structure of financial products, enabling informed pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
  • Strategic Planning: Contributing to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and competitiveness in the lending business. This may involve evaluating strategic alternatives, conducting feasibility studies, and supporting decision-making processes.
  • Supporting the preparation of executive-level materials, including board presentations, investor relations materials, and due diligence documents, leveraging analytical insights to provide strategic perspectives and facilitate informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned by senior management. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and business development efforts.

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in the lending and banking industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau) is preferred.
  • Master's degree or CPA/CFA certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Anaplan is a plus.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
